Chapter 1341: Enemy's Ultimate Technique

"Wushan Goddess?" Zu An nearly spat out his water. In the world he came from before transmigrating, there was a scenic spot called Wushan Goddess Peak, which had a beautiful legend associated with it. The "clouds and rain of Wushan" even became a euphemism for intimate activities.

"That's an interesting name," the Second Prince remarked, his spirits lifting.

The Green Garden steward continued his explanation, "Aside from the stone at its peak resembling a beautiful woman, this stone possesses another unique phenomenon: the surrounding mist. It appears as morning clouds and transforms into evening rain, capable of changing on its own."

Everyone stared at the misty aura surrounding the stone, marveling at its wonder and its ability to influence the weather within a small area.

"What is the 'Wushan' mentioned in the name?" Princess Sauron asked curiously.

The steward shook his head slightly. "That is unclear. This unpolished stone has existed for a very long time, and the name seemed to accompany it when we acquired it. Who named it, or where Wushan is, remains a mystery to everyone."

The Little Golden Roc King interjected, "I know of several mountain ranges within the demon race's territory called Wushan. There also seem to be places named Wushan within human and Southern Border territories. I'm just not sure if any of them are the Wushan referred to in this stone's name."

As one of the Four Great Generals of the demon race, the Little Golden Roc King had led armies across the continent, making him quite familiar with geography. No one doubted his words.

Zu An felt a stir within him. If he ever had the chance, he definitely wanted to visit those places to see if they were the Wushan from his memories of his previous life. After all these events, he constantly felt a subtle, almost imperceptible connection between the two worlds.

"What's the price of this unpolished stone?" Duke Lion asked eagerly. Given its miraculous nature, its contents were surely extraordinary.

The steward smiled faintly. "One hundred and fifty thousand Sky-grade Yuan Stones."

Duke Lion was speechless.

Everyone felt a sense of absurdity. They were all top figures among the demon race, never associating themselves with poverty in their daily lives. Yet, upon entering this "Immortal Character" room, they realized for the first time just how poor they truly were.

Lion Min also showed a hint of regret but was clearly reluctant to leave. He circled the "Wushan Goddess," inspecting it from all angles. He even had the thought that if he could confirm it contained something truly extraordinary, he would buy the stone, even if it meant bankrupting his family.

While one hundred and fifty thousand Sky-grade Yuan Stones was a vast sum, the Lion tribe's power meant they could afford it.

However, after observing it for a long time, he fluctuated between feeling that the unpolished stone emitted a mysterious rhythm, as if calling to him, and then believing it contained nothing at all, merely designed to mislead him.

His expression shifted between hope and disappointment, but he ultimately gave up, recognizing that the cost was simply too great, and he dared not take the risk.

Next, the group strolled through the garden and encountered many more extraordinary unpolished stones, each no less impressive than the "Northern Palace Black Tortoise" or the "Wushan Goddess" they had just seen.

Unfortunately, their prices were equally exorbitant, leading both sides to abandon any thought of acquiring these treasures of the establishment.

Yun Jianyue practically drooled looking at them. She secretly nudged Yan Xuehen, "Ice Stone Woman, this Green Garden is a huge fat sheep. How about we find an opportunity to team up and hit them for a big score?"

Yan Xuehen's expression was cold. "You're injured. Such an act would be suicidal."

"That's precisely why I'm asking for your help! If I were at my peak, I could roam freely across the world alone. Why would I need to call you then?" Yun Jianyue scoffed.

"A demoness will always be a demoness; her first instinct is to steal from others," Yan Xuehen said with a stern face. "And how could I ever collude with you?"

"Holier-than-thou!" Yun Jianyue scoffed. "Well, if I do manage to snatch it, won't you be curious to know what's inside?"

"Don't be impulsive. It wouldn't matter if you died, but if you dragged Zu An... *cough cough*, and Yu Yanluo and the others into it, then even death wouldn't atone for it." Yan Xuehen was startled.

"I know you're saying Zu An and Yu Yanluo, but you're actually worried about something happening to me, aren't you? You're just too embarrassed to admit it." Yun Jianyue grinned as she slung an arm around Yan Xuehen's shoulder. This Ice Stone Woman was becoming more human.

Yan Xuehen remained silent.

She uncomfortably pushed her hand away. When had this demoness become so presumptuous?

Yun Jianyue wasn't offended in the least. "Fine, if you don't want to go. Sooner or later, I'll clear out all the unpolished stones here. Just tell me, will you come to see what's opened from them then?"

Yan Xuehen hesitated. "I am genuinely curious about what's inside, but your actions are wrong..."

"Hmph, hypocrite," Yun Jianyue scoffed disdainfully.

Meanwhile, Lion Min and Yu Yanluo had already officially begun searching for unpolished stones. Having dismissed the idea of touching the establishment's treasures, they moved much faster, darting through the garden, afraid the other party would find a valuable item first.

After all, the unpolished stones in this garden were all astronomically priced. It was not easy to find an item valuable enough while still being within an affordable price range.

Now, the other princes, princesses, and county princesses also became interested. They followed closely, secretly deploying their unique skills, trying to get ahead and uncover the treasures within the unpolished stones.

However, these unpolished stones could block their spiritual senses, rendering all their attempts at detection futile.

So, everyone turned their attention to the two parties involved in the wager, eager to see what methods they would employ.

They watched as Lion Min's rough fingers suddenly became incredibly gentle, lightly tapping on the unpolished stones.

With each tap, the unpolished stones resonated like musical instruments, emitting various echoes—some muffled, some crisp, and some even lingering.

"This technique..." the Little Golden Roc King murmured, as if he had seen it somewhere before.

Noticing the astonished expressions of the others, Lion Rong proudly declared, "My third brother once visited the Qiu clan. His talent was appreciated by the Qiu clan's Old Ancestor, who offered him some guidance."

Tiger Yong was startled. "You mean the Qiu clan, the Yuan Stone family of the Armadillo tribe?"

Lion Rong gave him a dismissive look. "Who else could it be? Throughout the entire demon race, the Qiu clan's mastery of Yuan Stones is second to none; no one dares claim to be first."

Seemingly unable to tolerate the provocation, Tiger Yong scoffed, "That's not necessarily true. Back then, the Pangolin tribe was superior to the Qiu clan."

"The Pangolin tribe?" Lion Rong sneered. "They dug up ancestral graves of various clans everywhere and were long since attacked by everyone. Since Old Ancestor Pangolin disappeared hundreds of years ago, that tribe has completely vanished. I'm surprised you're so ill-informed."

Tiger Yong was enraged. "You little brat, are you asking for a beating?"

Seeing that the two were about to start bickering again, the Green Garden steward and the others present quickly intervened to mediate.

Zu An's heart stirred. Old Ancestor Pangolin—wasn't that the corpse he encountered last time in Marquis Sui's tomb? And *Ditian Sui Chanwei* was obtained from him; it seemed even he hadn't fully mastered its contents.

Furthermore, the plump Taoist priest, Wu Liang, seemed to be a descendant of the Pangolin tribe, possessing incredibly mysterious abilities.

At that moment, the Little Golden Roc King spoke up. "That move just now seems to be the Qiu clan's ultimate technique, 'Finger Flick Divine Skill.' I can't believe they even passed that on to Lion Min."

Lion Min smiled faintly. "The Little Golden Roc King indeed has sharp eyes. I was fortunate enough to gain the Qiu clan's Old Ancestor's appreciation back then, and he taught me a few forms. It's a pity I didn't learn the three most guarded techniques, which are only passed down to direct descendants of the Qiu clan."

Although he spoke with regret, a hint of pride unknowingly crept into his tone. After all, he had mastered the rest of the 'Finger Flick Divine Skill,' excluding only the three most secret techniques, making him more skilled than most of the Qiu clan's own disciples.

Had he not possessed such confidence, how would he have dared to challenge Yu Yanluo to a stone gambling match?

He deliberately spoke loudly, ensuring Yu Yanluo and the others heard him. His intention was to disturb her concentration, making it even less likely for her to select anything good.

Since the wager was already set, he wasn't afraid of them backing out, so there was no need to hide anything.

However, Yu Yanluo's expression remained calm, completely unaffected. Instead, she focused intently on observing an unpolished stone.

She made no movements with her hands, simply watching it quietly.

Duke Lion laughed heartily. "What's wrong? Can't pick one? Do you want my third brother to help you choose a few unpolished stones?"

Zu An scoffed, "You show off like this just by learning a trick or two from the Qiu clan? What's more, you haven't even mastered it all. So, do you know what our clan leader used to do among humans?"

Duke Lion frowned. "What did she do?"

Zu An smiled faintly. "Among humans, she used to be the head of the largest jade stone family in the world. Oh, and by comparison, her status was probably a level or two higher than your so-called Old Ancestor Qiu."

"What?" The Lion clan members were greatly shaken. They had never anticipated this development and quickly looked towards Yu Yanluo.

Yu Yanluo was deeply focused, seemingly unaware of their conversation. Just then, a yellow light suddenly gleamed in her beautiful eyes.

"Medusa's Gaze!" Everyone in the room's expression changed dramatically. As fellow members of the demon race, they naturally understood the terror of Medusa's Gaze. Each of them quickly took defensive stances, terrified of accidentally being completely petrified.
