Chapter 885: This All What Matters

Seeing the expectant look in the other person's eyes, Mi Li hesitated for a moment before taking a porcelain bottle from Zu An's embrace. "Take this medicine?" she asked.

"What is this?" Bi Linglong asked. With a life to save, she didn't question it and immediately picked up the bottle, preparing to drink it.

"This medicine is called 'Bull's Milk'," Mi Li explained, "... and it's a potent aphrodisiac."

Zu An had previously confiscated three similar drugs from various villains. One of the others, 'Eighteen Degrees of Spring Breeze,' was clearly unsuitable for this situation, as it would be too intense. It wasn't that Bi Linglong couldn't handle it, but that Zu An, in his current state, wouldn't be able to. The third, 'Forget-Sorrow Water,' would erase memories of that period afterward, which was also unnecessary.

Hearing her words, Bi Linglong's hand froze just before reaching her mouth. She then stared at Mi Li, her face flushed with embarrassment.

Mi Li explained, "Zu An's cultivation technique is unique. It not only tempers the body but can also save lives through the harmonious union of yin and yang. The first part of the scripture allows one to save others' lives through yin-yang interaction, while the second part enables one to save their own life."

Qin Shihuang's unfinished words just before he left, mentioning that he had taught Zu An the second half of the 'Hongmeng Primordial Scripture,' evidently referred to this.

Although Bi Linglong was a young woman, as a Crown Princess, she had long been educated on such matters by her family and palace matrons, so she naturally understood the meaning of yin-yang interaction.

Her face was so red it seemed it might bleed. "How can there be such... such strange and wicked cultivation techniques in the world?" she exclaimed.

"The world is vast and full of wonders," Mi Li said. "This technique has the power to create and nurture life; it's not an evil art." She picked up the medicine bottle that had fallen nearby, contemplating simply forcing the medicine down Bi Linglong's throat.

From her perspective, she didn't care about Bi Linglong's status as Crown Princess; if it could save Zu An's life, she would do anything.

Bi Linglong bit her lip tightly, her chest rising and falling rapidly, clearly engaged in an intense internal struggle. Seeing Mi Li offer the medicine again, a flicker of shame and annoyance crossed her eyes, but she still shook her head. "I don't need this medicine," she said.

She looked at Zu An, a hint of tenderness in her eyes. "A'Zu, you've saved me so many times; now it's my turn to save you." With that, she slowly began to untie her belt.

Mi Li was stunned for a moment and withdrew the hand she had placed behind Bi Linglong. Since the young woman was willing, it couldn't be better. Yet, Mi Li mused, how could so many beautiful girls fall for this guy, who was usually so frivolous, elusive, and seemed to be constantly asking for a beating?

Noticing Zu An's critical condition, Bi Linglong dared not delay. Her clothes were already undone, revealing her delicate collarbones and smooth, fragrant shoulders, when she suddenly remembered something. She looked at Mi Li with a flushed face. "Master," she began, "could you... could you not be here?"

Mi Li thought to herself, *It's not like I haven't seen this before.* She recalled how she had been inseparable from Zu An recently, witnessing his intimate moments with his female confidantes on several occasions. She was long accustomed to such sights. *Oh, right, how many has it been now? One, two, three... Hmph, he's truly a philanderer!*

She cursed inwardly but didn't make things difficult for the young woman. She nodded, turned, and walked several yards away. "I'll be right here," she said. "Let me know immediately if anything changes." Although she could choose not to watch, she didn't dare go too far; any unexpected developments would be problematic.

Bi Linglong's heart thumped rapidly. She actually wanted Mi Li to be further away, but since Mi Li had said that, she found it hard to argue further. Fortunately, Mi Li had her back to them, so she shouldn't be able to see...

She gently stroked Zu An's face, as memories of their encounters since they first met, especially everything that had happened in the secret realm recently, flashed through her mind. She suddenly smiled sweetly, as if she had come to a realization. Her previous nervousness vanished, replaced by a sense of firm determination.

"A'Zu, I like you..." she whispered into Zu An's ear, as if afraid Mi Li, who was some distance away, might hear her.

Seeing him look like a broken piece of porcelain, with more and more cracks appearing on his body, she dared not delay any longer. She hastily shed her luxurious robes and tightly embraced him with her warm, delicate body.

A moment later, Mi Li suddenly heard a frustrated voice. "Master, could you... could you come here for a moment?"

Mi Li was somewhat surprised, wondering why the young woman was calling her over at this moment. However, considering Zu An's condition, she dared not delay. With a flicker of her figure, she appeared beside them.

The moment she stood still, her eyes narrowed involuntarily. She saw Bi Linglong gently holding her robes to cover her chest, but this only made her fair, exquisite body even more captivating. Even Mi Li, with her lofty standards, had to admit Bi Linglong's beauty. *That fellow Zu An—never mind his other qualities—his taste is truly excellent.*

She cleared her throat softly, gathered her thoughts, and asked, "What's wrong?"

"I... I... He... he..." Bi Linglong stammered, her face flushed, whether from anxiety or shame, it was unclear. For a moment, she couldn't find the words to explain the situation.

Although Mi Li hadn't personally experienced such things, she had received a royal education in her youth. Moreover, after witnessing countless "live broadcasts" while accompanying Zu An recently, she understood immediately what had happened with just a glance. It turned out that Zu An was in a semi-conscious state, and with his body gradually collapsing, some of his bodily functions weren't reacting strongly to slight stimulation as they normally would. Judging from the scene, Bi Linglong must have put in a lot of effort. As a Crown Princess, the matrons would certainly have taught her these matters before she entered the palace.

Mi Li couldn't help but want to laugh a little. Zu An was usually most confident about this particular aspect—who would have thought he'd face this today? However, she immediately realized the seriousness of the situation. If they delayed any longer, Zu An might truly turn to dust. But how could anyone else help with this kind of thing? Bi Linglong clearly realized this too, her face filled with worry.

Mi Li's expression flickered between different emotions. Finally, as if making a decision, she said, "I have a way. Wait a moment." Then, under Bi Linglong's astonished gaze, she transformed into a wisp of smoke and vanished into Zu An's body.

Soon, Zu An's eyes opened. However, compared to his usual carefree demeanor, his gaze now seemed to possess a hint of... allure? At this point, it was naturally Bi Linglong controlling Zu An's body. The two had long ago signed a soul contract, and coupled with their long association, their souls were imbued with each other's aura, so Zu An's body didn't strongly reject her.

The moment Mi Li entered Zu An's body, she immediately felt a piercing, intense pain throughout her body, and her head felt like it would explode. She wondered how Zu An could endure such pain. She dared not delay and hastily used her power to help Zu An stabilize his physical injuries. Her cultivation was extraordinary, and soon, Zu An's collapsing body began to stabilize.

However, she knew this was only temporary; her spiritual power was limited, and once it was depleted, he would still die. So she dared not delay and reached out to pull Bi Linglong into her embrace.

Bi Linglong immediately realized what was happening and subconsciously resisted. "You..." she began.

"No need to worry," Zu An said, though it was Mi Li's voice. "I'm just giving him a push."

Bi Linglong was so embarrassed she wished she could disappear into a crack in the ground. *What kind of situation is this?* she thought.

Mi Li also found the situation incredibly awkward. Enduring the discomfort, she leaned in and kissed Bi Linglong.

...

A moment later, Mi Li's soul-form fled Zu An's body as if escaping, running off into the distance without looking back. "The rest is up to you," she called.

Bi Linglong noticed a hint of crimson, feeling a bit puzzled. *Can a soul-form blush too?* she wondered. However, she had no time to think about other matters now, because they had reached a critical moment.

She could clearly hear her own heartbeat, but she still gently embraced Zu An, pulling him close to her. Her delicate brows furrowed, and tears welled up instantly. After all, she was still an innocent maiden. Before she could say anything, the semi-conscious Zu An cried out, "It hurts!"

Bi Linglong was speechless.

Mi Li in the distance was speechless.
